![]() Over her 14 years with the Board, Jeannie has overseen key strategic tourism projects such as the opening of the Singapore Flyer, the development of River Safari, and the conceptualization of the Hotel Industry Productivity Roadmap. In this role, she was also co-chair of the Tourism Work Group under the Iskandar Malaysia Joint Ministerial Committee. Prior to this role, she served as Director, Tourism Concept Development where she oversaw the master planning of new tourism zones such as Mandai and Jurong Lake, to ensure a steady pipeline of tourism developments. Jeannie was also concurrently Executive Director of the Exhibition & Conference Division from 2011 to 2013. She also champions the development of the local industry to strengthen Singapore’s position as a business events destination. In this role, she was responsible for attracting quality association congresses and corporate-driven events to Singapore and ensuring Singapore’s competitive positioning as a Top International Convention and Meetings City. Prior to her current role, Jeannie led the Conventions, Meetings & Incentive Travel division of the Singapore Exhibition and Convention Bureau. She also drives industry development and regulatory efforts for core tourism industries such as hotels, cruise, travel agent and tourist guides, sectoral manpower development strategies, as well as infrastructure planning and management of key tourism assets. In her current role, Jeannie leads policy and strategy matters across STB, supporting research and data-driven decision-making. She holds a bachelor's degree with majors in both International Relations and French from the University of Virginia.Ms Jeannie Lim assumed the position of Assistant Chief Executive, Policy and Planning Group on 11 March 2019. She has held a Board Trustee position for the Human Resources Outsourcing Association. She has served on Korn Ferry Global Technology Leadership team. MacDonald has served on Korn Ferry's Global Partnership Council representing its RPO business, reporting to Korn Ferry's CEO. She then worked for American Telephone & Telegraph (AT&T) working in both Marketing and Sales leadership roles for voice, data and Web-related services. MacDonald began her career in 1990 working in the Supply Chain industry for what is now, UPS Supply Chain Solutions. Joining the firm in 1998, she has developed extensive experience working with clients in a variety of industries, including consumer package goods, financial services, life sciences and advanced technology. She has worked in a variety of roles at Korn Ferry including Senior Recruiter, Business Development Director for North America prior to moving into various leadership positions with the firm. MacDonald held the role of General Manager of the North America RPO and Projects Solutions business for 2.5 years and then became Chief Sales Officer for 18 months. Her global remit includes go-to-market strategy, business development, solution design, technology architecture and services, talent advisory services and service execution. MacDonald is responsible for oversight of Korn Ferry's RPO businesses. MacDonald is based in the Firm's Los Angeles office.
